DESIGNER
Lu is fascinated by architectural innovation. She brings to the team her experience in digital design methodology and digital fabrication techniques, as she works to integrate environmental system analysis, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and new material research to generate new and more feasible design strategies creating resiliency for both people and the environment. Lu earned her Bachelor of Architecture at Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) and her Master of Science in Design in Advanced Architectural Design at the University of Pennsylvania. She applies her depth of design experience to both architectural and landscape work at IA as the lead in 3-D digital fabrication and model production in IA’s shop. Her professional experience includes hospitality, art institutions, and residential projects.
Outside of the office, Lu is an avid film buff and finds respite and inspiration hiking and camping in the Bay Area and beyond.
